About the Working Party
The Newquay Neighbourhood Plan Working Group is made up of a small number of Town Councillors who have been given the responsibility by Newquay Town Council of co-ordinating this work. The Working Group meetings are also attended by Cornwall Rural Community Charity – an independent not for profit charity that has expertise in community development and neighbourhood planning – that are working with Newquay to progress the Neighbourhood Plan.
The Working Group keep a keen eye on activity and budgets, and basically have the overview of the process as their remit. They are also the link between the Town Council and a separate Neighbourhood Planning Steering Group (made up of a range of local people and organisations).
